Governance
The New Brunswick Choral Federation is a Provincially incorporated non-profit organization and registered charity governed by a Board of Directors of between 5 and 10 members. Board members are elected at an Annual General Meeting, and the Executive is chosen from the elected board members at a board meeting following each AGM.
There are three classes of membership, two of which may vote:

Individual (Active, Retired, Student). Individual members in good standing are entitled to one vote.

Group. There are two classes of Group Membership:

Choir (Youth Choir, Church Youth Choir, Adult Church Choir, Community Choir) categories. Each choir group shall appoint two representatives who may vote at general, special and annual meetings and may hold office in the Corporation.

Institutional, which includes music departments, school districts, libraries and other professional organizations. Institutional members may not vote nor hold office in the Corporation.

Patron Members The Board may admit as Patron Members an individual or group to honour that person or group. Patron members are not entitled to a vote.
